Media DR Backup is a private disaster-recovery application used to store encrypted configuration backups in Google Drive.
Media DR Backup requests access to Google Drive using the drive.file permission. This access is used only to create, read, verify, retain, and delete backup files created by the application.
Backup data is encrypted before it is uploaded to Google Drive. The application stores encrypted disaster-recovery backup archives and associated cryptographic checksums.
Google user data is used solely to authenticate access to Google Drive and manage backup files created by Media DR Backup.
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
Backup contents are encrypted before transmission to Google Drive. OAuth credentials are stored securely on the backup system and are not intentionally exposed publicly.
Encrypted backup files are retained according to the application's disaster-recovery retention policy. Older backup files may be deleted automatically according to that policy.
Access can be revoked at any time through the user's Google Account security settings.
